NorQuest College offers an orientation
session for all new International Students. Orientation is scheduled
prior to your program start date. It is a great way to become familiar
with NorQuest College, meet other international students, and learn
about the city of Edmonton. We will cover information such as how
to use the public transit system, how to find accommodations, and
activities and excursions.
All students must have Canadian health/medical
insurance before attending class. It is the student’s responsibility
to purchase insurance upon arrival. We offer three different options
to choose from:
Ingle Insurance
Available to students studying any length of
time
You may purchase Ingle insurance as soon as
you arrive
Edmonton has a very good transit system, called
the Edmonton Transit System, or ETS. A bus pass for transit around
Edmonton and area costs $74.50/month for students. You can also
choose to pay $2.75 per bus ride instead of purchasing monthly passes.
(Prices are subject to change).
